无论是离世七七- 四十九天之内, 或是日后的追思纪念，家属皆可为往生者举行诵经、施食、普佛等佛事仪轨，籍由此无量功德，让逝者得到超度，往生极乐。

Whether it is within forty nine days or even after that, families can request for sutra recitations, offerings of food and ritual worship of the Buddha so that the merit acquired can bless the deceased and cause them to be reborn into the Pure Land.
